Linton Lodge Hotel is now licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. We have 6 tastefully decorated suites and can accommodate from a minimum of 10 guests up to 100 guests for larger ceremonies.
We offer the complete wedding package which include room hire and set up costs. Ceremony only prices are available on request. Flowers and live music can be arranged for an additional cost. For more information, please contact us.
Here is a step by step guide to holding your wedding ceremony at the Linton Lodge Hotel.
Step 1:
Book your chosen date and time for your ceremony. The chosen date will then be placed on a provisional hold until you have booked the registrar.
Step 2:
Contact the superintendent registrar, Cheryl Eva, the Oxford registrars office on 01865 815167. The office is open Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 4.30pm.
Step 3:
Book the registration staff to conduct the ceremony by immediately telephoning the superintendent registrar on the above number. This will ensure that they are available to conduct your ceremony. At this time you will be given the name and telephone number of the superintendent registrar of the district in which you live.
Step 4:
Make an appointment with the superintendent registrar of the district in which you live to complete the legal documentation of the marriage. The timing is crucial at this point and you will be given either a provisional booking form which gives you full details or advice at the time of booking the registration staff in step 3.
Step 5:
Confirm your booking with the Best Western Linton Lodge Hotel. We require a deposit of £200.00 to confirm wedding bookings.
Step 6:
Just before the wedding, arrange an appointment with the superintendent registrar who will be conducting your marriage, to finalise your ceremony. Music, poetry and additional promises are things you may wish to consider
